this kind of got buried in my inbox, and rather than leaving it there
I thought I'd give you a quick response.
Without looking into the matter or thinking about it more deeply, I
don't think I can make any sort of decision about whether or not to
plan something like this for twill.
The idea of making a *general* Tcl-ish layer on top of Python is an
intriguing one, though, and I don't think it would be difficult to
support something like that explicitly in twill. It's just a matter of
how to integrate it.
I'm in favor of KISSing it as much as possible, basically.
