You beat me to it - I was just going to mail this list with the bug link.

Long story short: the defects in jquery.hotkeys.js aren't actually in the
upstream sources - it appears debian have made these changes themselves,
and we now carry them in Ubuntu.

Sorry if this generated more discussion than was warranted.
