LA UNCUBED

On Thursday January 31st, Wakefield (the daily email on great places
to work) is bringing the nation's biggest startup hiring event,
Uncubed, to LA. Over 30 of the area's "best places to work" will
gather at the Annenberg Beach House and starting at 1pm, kick off a
day of networking and interacting with strong candidates. The
atmosphere is lively and fun, with music, drinks and talks form some
amazing entrepreneurs in LA, including Mike Jones co-founder of
Science and former CEO of MySpace & Joel Simkhai, founder of Grindr.

In addition, American Airlines is also hosting the Paper Napkin Pitch,
where attendees pitch an idea on the back of a napkin for a chance at
a free RT Flight anywhere in the world, Patrick Vlaskovits, author of
The Lean Entrepreneur, is giving an educational workshop on Lean
Startups and Grindr is hosting a special after-party from 7:30 - 9:30.
