Hey, all. This is Justin Hampton, the fellow who gave the presentation on MOOCs and Python last night. I just wanted to thank everyone who came, especially the professor who came specifically for the talk. I hope you learned as much from me as I know I learned from you.

I didn't go into my background last night, but I come to the Python community as a former national music journalist, so my focus has been on the very issues of culture that were raised repeatedly in the discussion afterwards. It was not necessarily my intent to bring culture up, but I realize now that it's literally unavoidable in every field, and that it's bound to education. It's also very encouraging, as my key intellectual interests lie in how culture determines a person's ability to relate to others, and that came up quite a bit afterwards.

So I'd put that out to anyone on the list - you have a lot to gain by presenting! I'd do it again in a heartbeat, and hope to once again one of these days.
YNDAEA.
