need for a entry to mid-level Python Developer with experience utilizing
Django. The position is Contract-To-Hire, as the company seeks to expand

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field

* 3 years in software development and programming experience developing
server-side applications

* 2 years developing web-based applications

* 2 years in object-oriented development using Python

* 2 years with the setup/administration of either MySQL or Postgres
databases

* Experience must include at least 1 year developing scalable web and
content-management applications with Python/Django.  

* Additional experience with Drupal, PHP, AJAX, or GIS a plus.

 

Job Skills Required:

* Python - Basic language usage, advanced language usage, third-party
libraries

* Django - Data modeling, database interaction, template language, custom
template tags, views/requests/filters, admin app, and user registration

* JavaScript - Basic language usage, advanced language usage, third-party
libraries, and AJAX

* Apache - Basic setup, administration, and troubleshooting

* Databases - MySQL or PostgreSQL (Postgres) setup and administration

* Linux - Basic setup, administration and troubleshooting

* HTML - Basic coding knowledge

* CSS - Basic coding knowledge

* SVN - Version control using SVN or similar

* Shell scripting - Basic experience

* Excellent communication skills with clients
