DUTIES
Performs complex product design activities which may require extensive
research and analysis
Performs design, implementation and maintenance of complex and secure
multiple product modules/sub-systems
Participates in product design meeting
Performs complex bug verification, release testing and beta support
for assigned products
Researches problems discovered by QA or product support and develop
solutions to the problems
Conducts unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits
Documentation of development work
May serve as a product architect: Design and implementation in order
to meet project objectives
Researches and understands the marketing requirements for a product,
including target environment, performance criteria and competitive
issues
Researches new technology or development tools to remain informed of
current technology
Drives continuous adoption and integration of relevant new
technologies into design
Deal with 3rd party services (wrap, cache, test)

REQUIREMENTS
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
5+ years designing and writing cutting edge software
3+ years of proven Python development
Must have internet and operating system security fundamentals
Must have experience designing and developing highly scalable systems
Experience working in a diverse multi-technology environment.
Experience with virtualization, preferably with multiple hypervisors
Experience with open source projects
