Since Python has been adding Haskell-like features,
you might be interested in the Open Quark Framework
and the CAL language from BusinessObjects. It comes
with a BSD-style license.

CAL is a Haskell-like language that compiles to Java
bytecode, so it is somewhat similar to Jython.
