I'm happy to accept patches, and I put together a release whenever I have time and can get help, but I'm not actively developing it right now. But it's also much more mature and widely used than nose2.</div>
<div><br></div><div>nose2 is a much smaller, cleaner codebase, and is where I put new features whenever I want a new test runner feature. (For instance, zope-style layers are only in nose2). I myself use nose2 much more than nose1 now. nose2 also has a more liberal license, if that matters to you.</div>
<div><br></div><div>I have extremely limited time for personal projects these days -- for actual coding, about 30 minutes/week at best. So progress on nose1 releases and nose2 features is always very slow.</div><div><br></div>
