Documentation contains statements about how a software system behaves.
Sometimes those statements can be tested in order to verify that they
are true and to ensure that they stay true as the document is updated
and as the system evolves.

Examples for testable documentation of software libraries (like Manuel)
suggest themselves, but even end-user documentation can benefit from
tests.
