Hi Jonathan,<div><br></div><div>I have a few friends up in Northern California who recently transitioned from Java to Python in the past few months, and have already come up to speed on most of the tasks required off of them. Both of my friends have learnt either through colleagues, books, or the online community. Furthermore, I have been a full-time <a href="http://ASP.NET">ASP.NET</a> developer for about 2 years now, and I still do a lot of scripting in Python (GAE) wherever I can, both at work and for fun. I am sure you can find more people like me if you start looking.</div>

Some of the reasons why we want to leave ASP is because I am having the worst time finding asp programmers and even more of a headache trying to find .NET programmers in my area oddly enough.
