Django seems to be the default choice when it comes to Python websites these
days. It's pretty easy to setup and use. It's a good choice in my opinion,
but I'd be okay if everyone else wants to use something else.

Unfortunately, I'm not very good with names. I personally like pyshoot and
pwc.
AFAIK, pyjamas is not a Web application framework, but a
python-to-javascript tool. We could use it for fancy AJAX widget
creation.
What really is a web application framework?

Pyjamas does include a python->javascript compiler, and also includes a
set of widgets that makes writing web applications much like writing a
desktop application.
Django is kind of heavy for something simple like that. we probably
don't even need a database back end.

we could go with cherrypy or fapws (only *nix I think). Very fast, not
really much else needed.

What do we use for code highlighting?
A modern Web application framework includes a lot of the scaffolding
necessary whenever you build a Web application. It usually takes care
of all the details of the HTTP request/response handling, and it lets
you plug in your business logic code without worrying about low-level
HTTP-related details. Most frameworks also include things like user
authentication, AJAX, ORM layers, etc.

Examples of Python Web application frameworks: Django, Turbogears,
Pylons, Werkzeug, Restish and many others.
