Hello,

The best clue in the crash log is this:

pure virtual method called

That's a C++ programming error. But since Python is written in C, this
is probably not a Python problem. I can see something called libvray
is in C++, so that seems like a likely candidate. A google tells me
that might be some sort of Maya Python extension.

Also, the crash dump says the thread that caused the error was 5, but
it looks like you've cut the log off before that stack so I can't tell
you exactly where it's gone wrong.
