>From Joshua Aaron:

Hi all. Just wanted to put the word out to the community on a great job.

I've got a major project here in Los Angeles beginning next week and
I'm looking for a top tier programming genius.

The right person will have experience developing logic based, database
driven applications on the Zope 2.x platform against a PGSQL DB
running on Debian Linux. Cross browser/cross platform compatibility is
extremely important as is the ability for this application to scale
massively. You will be the lead programmer on a small team and will be
the primary person responsible for the back-end infrastructure
design/code.

Here is a list of the primary skills we are searching for:

Zope
Python
DTML
PostgreSQL
SQL (including trigger and function design)
JavaScript
AJAX
JQuery
C/C++ (and Objective C)
Debian Linux
Apache
PERL
PHP
MySQL

Primarily this will be a secure web-based application, however there
will also be an iPhone and iPad app that needs to be developed and
will utilize the same back-end as the web app.

Other people will be handling the front end design, however you will
assist with the back-end code necessary to make the visual interfaces
function properly. A major plus is knowledge of web browser technology
(Safari, FireFox, Opera, IE8/IE7/IE6 on both the PC and Mac platforms)
with a strong focus on cross browser/cross platform compatibility.

This pays extremely well and even if you don't live here in LA we are
willing to discuss relocation during the term of the project (possibly
permanently if things go well) for the right person.

If you are interested in being considered for this position, please
e-mail me at info at macgenius.com and include a description of your
skills along with some project you've developed, as well as a detailed
resume. We are not concerned with fancy degrees. We are concerned with
your technical expertise and ability to get the job done better than
anyone else. We're searching for a star.

Joshua
