Is the plan to provide a hosted app (like hurl.it) or just the software which people can host themselves? If the goal is a hosted app, has anyone considered python/appengine? Last time I checked their "free" quotas were fairly generous and I don't expect this app would need much in the way of CPU or storage. Carl.
