We are in search of a web developer with significant Python skills to
be a key member of an exciting new automotive start up. Today car
shoppers do not have the ability to determine an average price from a
great price. Instead they are left to fend for themselves and
negotiate one-off deals with the disadvantage of having no visibility
into what others paid for a similar make in their given geographic
area. We level the playing field for consumers and dealers by
publishing actual vehicle pricing based on sales transaction data of
car purchases across the US. For the right candidate this will be a
simultaneously challenging, exciting, energetic, frustrating, and
ultimately rewarding experience in a fun and fast-paced decision
making environment.

Required Skills, Education & Attributes

Minimum 3 years full-time front end development experience, preferably
in a leadership role.
Expert-level HTML, CSS, and Javascript
Working experience with Django or some other modern web framework.
Hands-on experience in UI design and implementation.
Proficiency in Python--list comprehensions and generator expressions
are your close friends.
Can produce pixel-perfect designs in HTML across various browsers
You appreciate detailed specs, but you are also driven to explore and
develop specs of new projects on your own initiative, collaborating
with the rest of the team.
You are a strong communicator and can explain concepts in layman's terms.
Comfortable with cross browser testing frameworks such as BrowserCam
Proficient in Photoshop
jQuery and/or Flash experience a plus.
You are an entrepreneur at heart, self-motivated, with an insatiable
can-do mentality.
