SYNOPSIS:
An industry leader in the institutional money management arena is seeking a Python Programmer to join their team.

LOCATION: 
Orange County, California

POSITION DESCRIPTION: 
The incumbent should have excellent web-based development experience as the main responsibility will be developing web-based applications and dynamically generated charts/plots in particular. The candidate will be working with the trade desk to develop and enhance applications utilized by a fixed income management team.

QUALIFICATIONS:
•BA/BS degree with a preferred major in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant
•Strong proficiency with Python on Linux, working knowledge of Linux/UNIX shell scripts and SQL
•Programming skills building forms, layouts, charts, and graphing required
•Knowledge of Python integration with C/C++ or C++ programming a plus
•Knowledge of web technologies including Apache, JavaScript/AJAX, CSS, HTML
•Experience designing, coding, and testing web-based applications a plus
•High energy team-player with the ability to work independently in a highly focused environment
•Experience in the securities industry, especially Fixed Income, a plus
