[socal-piggies] Using upcoming.org for events

I've been reading about upcoming.org, a free alternative to Meetup.com.
I was thinking we could use it for announcing our meetings. I added an
event for the next Piggies meeting, for the (tentative) date of June
21: http://upcoming.org/event/20282

I'll send invites to the event via upcoming's email notification. It
would help if you guys signed up with upcoming.org. They also offer a
RESTful API (<http://upcoming.org/services/api/>), so maybe we can whip
up a Python app to manage our events etc.
