What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.>>> from pygr import worldbase

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A list of databases expect but will get this error :WARNING: error
accessing metabase http://biodb2.bioinformatics.ucla.edu:5000.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.8.1,Ubuntu 9.10

Please provide any additional information below.
This same system was working 20 days ago but w/o any change to system ,I
start to get that error message.
