[pony-build] Merging in progress.

Hi folks,

I've merged Max's 'mkdir' branch and Fatima's coverage code into my
own 'mkdir' branch, here:

  http://github.com/ctb/pony-build/tree/mkdir

Please base future work off of this branch as much as possible: in particular,
any *new* work should be based off of an explicit merge of 'mkdir'.

Fatima, this means you will need to replace your current 'master' with this
branch; I'm not sure what the easiest way to do this is, but it might be to
just trash and re-create your repo directory completely (delete and re- clone,
in other words).

Not basing future changes off of my 'mkdir' branch will result in untold
suffering and pain on my part... thanks!
