<div dir="ltr">Hi Everyone, <div><br></div><div>This afternoon I will present a very basic introduction to R and RStudio to complement Titus's use of iPythonNotebook this morning. </div><div><br></div><div>R is not installed on your Amazon AMI so if you want to use your Amazon machine <a href="http://www.cran.r-project.org/doc/manuals/R-admin.html#Installing-R-under-Unix_002dalikes">you will have to install R</a>.</div>
<div><br></div><div>You can run R on your individual laptops if you want: <a href="http://www.cran.r-project.org/">If you don't have R already you can download and install it here for Mac, PC, and Linux flavors</a>.</div>
<div><br></div><div>If you want to use RStudio, <a href="http://www.rstudio.com/ide/">you can go here</a> and install it for your platform.</div><div><br></div><div>I've put my <a href="https://github.com/jrherr/quick_basic_R_tutorial/blob/master/R_tutorial.md">R tutorial text</a> and <a href="https://github.com/jrherr/quick_basic_R_tutorial/blob/master/basic_R_tutorial.R">R code</a> on <a href="https://github.com/jrherr/quick_basic_R_tutorial">a repository on github</a>.</div>
