Even after changing both the MAIL FROM and RCPT TO addresses to be the same thing, my spam bot seems to just 'hang' at the sock.recv(4096) after sock.sendall(MAIL FROM: <a href="mailto:nermal@cse491.msu.idyll.org">nermal@cse491.msu.idyll.org</a>)<br>

Put the <username>@<a href="http://cse491.msu.idyll.org" target="_blank">cse491.msu.idyll.org</a> in both the MAIL FROM: and RCPT TO: and see if it shows up in your email. I was having the exact same problem and that's what fixed it for me. <br>

I'm in an airport right now and I don't have time to do much more than<br>
write e-mails, but: check your spam filter.<br>

If you get the 'OK' at the end from the server, then your code is<br>
working ok and there's just some spam-related problem between my server<br>
and your eyeballs.<br>
