Exactly. We need to standardize the license for the *content* of the  
site. Tutorials, vignettes, articles, code examples...

At this point I don't think we have discussed an intention to  
actually be hosting software projects at bio.scipy.org. Individual  
projects can still be released under whatever license and linked to  
from bio.scipy.org.

Our goal here (I think) is to build a community around biology in  
python. That community needs be focused on scientific values of  
openness, transparency, and peer review, in addition to engineering  
values. Having a single *real* open license for all content is  
critical to that mission.
