[bip] ab1 sequence file reader in python

->    Has anyone here written a parser for ab1 sequence files?  I'm  
-> interesting in capturing the quality values that accompany each  
-> sequencing result.  Apparently the file format specs are ABI trade  
-> secrets, but I've read that "many people have reverse-engineered
