godbox:   integer-based sliders converted to double-based.
error-checking on mutation rates entered into fields -- gives error
message when rates > 1.0 are entered.  at claus' suggestion, i'm
switching to log-scaled sliders.  yet to do:  gui elements still not
completely intereconnected, and still not to avida.
