Hi all,
Avida-ED is the educational version of the Avida Digital Evolution Research
platform. If you're interested in using it in your class (or know someone
who i might be) this is a great opportunity!
Cheers,
- Emily

All,
We're excited to announce that this summer we will be holding two workshops
on the use of Avida-ED; one at the University of Washington from June
21-23, and one at Michigan State University from July 27-29. Avida-ED is a
free, web-based program designed to teach both principles of evolution and
the nature of science, based on the research platform Avida. Workshop
participants, in teams of two, will learn how to use this program, and
incorporate it into courses that they teach. Full details on the
workshops, and information on how to apply, are in the attached flyer.
Unfortunately, due to limitations on our grant, we are unable to pay for
transportation or lodging of individuals who are neither US citizens nor
permanent residents. Applications are due March 17, 2017. If you have any
questions, feel free to contact me at mwiser at msu.edu
