Dear all,

We are happy to announce the call for Multidisciplinary Applications of Evolutionary Game Theory <http://ai.vub.ac.be/AlifeEGT>, a satellite workshop at Alife XV <http://turing.iimas.unam.mx/~weam/ALifeXV/>  <http://turing.iimas.unam.mx/~weam/ALifeXV/>conference, that will take place in Cancun (Mexico) between the 4th and the 8th of July.

The goal of the workshop is to show the state-of-the-art of the evolutionary game theory research and applications, to connect researchers with different backgrounds, from physicists and computer scientists to economists and sociologists and invite them to share ideas and learn from each other. The workshop also aims to introduce the field to researchers traditionally participating in artificial life meetings in order to instigate the exchange of ideas and methods.

We invite the submission <http://ai.vub.ac.be/AlifeEGT/contributions> of 1- to 4-page abstracts. After the workshop, the most relevant contributions will be invited to provide an extended manuscript for a special issue on evolutionary game theory in the Artificial Life journal <http://www.mitpressjournals.org/loi/artl>. The deadline for the submission of abstracts for the workshop is 17th of April 2016.

Please, find all the necessary information in the website of the event: http://ai.vub.ac.be/AlifeEGT <http://ai.vub.ac.be/AlifeEGT>

If you are not able to participate yourself, please consider to send one of your students. Feel free to also send this call to your friends and colleagues who may be interested in the topic.

Looking forward to seeing you in Cancun,

The organisers
