ROLE
You will teach on foundation year, undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the School using pedagogic approaches that deliver a first class student experience and undertake high quality research and/or enterprise in a topic relevant to the School. You will receive support that will enable you to develop your research and/or enterprise activity including applying for funding. You will teach in the area of Computer Science that is aligned with your research and/or enterprise expertise, but will also be expected to contribute flexibly to teaching in any area Computer Science undergraduate, lower levels and foundation year.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are seeking applications from individuals who have expertise in a research area aligned with the Informatics Research Centre:
- Intelligent Systems
- Networks and/or Distributed Systems
- Complex Systems
- Image/Video Analysis
- Data Science/Big Data
- Software Engineering
You will have a PhD in Computer Science or a related discipline and have a well-defined research or enterprise plan. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to advancing existing research areas in the School and be capable of delivering a high quality student experience.
