At University of Paderborn, Germany, faculty of Computer Science, 
Electrical Engineering, and Mathematics, the Department of Computer 
Science is searching for a new member of the scientific staff within 
subproject B1 of the Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) 901 "On-The-Fly 
Computing" (http://sfb901.upb.de). There will be offered a position as a 
Research Assistant (salary is according to pay scale TV-L 13)

The position is to be filled as soon as possible and is for a fixed term 
of one year. An extension is possible. Regular working hours are 40 
hours a week. The option of undertaking a PhD is provided and will be 
explicitly supported.

Your duties and responsibilities:

Subproject B1 investigates service requests and service requirement 
specifications for on-the-fly markets. Our research is a hybrid of 
Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, in particular our 
focus is on specification by-example and synthesis of specifications by 
methods of Evolutionary Computation.

Your profile:

A qualified candidate is interested in applied interdisciplinary 
research and has a Master's or equivalent degree in a relevant 
scientific or technical subject, such as computer science, computational 
engineering, mathematics, or business informatics.
You have sufficient knowledge in Software and Requirements Engineering 
and in optimization techniques based on Evolutionary Computation.
