The Organizing Committee for the 2016 Robotics: Science and Systems Conference (RSS 2016) requests proposals for full and half-day workshops, tutorials, competitions, and demonstrations to be held on June 18-19th at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA.

The RSS workshops have consistently provided high-quality, topically-focused forums for researchers at the forefront of robotics. This year these events will take place during a weekend before the main conference. Conference attendees will have the option of workshop-only registration.

Prospective organizers should upload proposals by January 14th, 2016 to:
    https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=rss2016workshops.
A template for the proposal is available through the conference website:
   http://www.roboticsconference.org/workshopTemplate.html
We expect proposals to be approximately 2-3 pages in length.

Proposals from relevant communities that have not traditionally participated at RSS are highly welcome as well as innovative ideas on structuring the events in a way that will promote discussion among the participants. Priority will be given to proposals that effectively address these issues.

Organizers are encouraged to communicate early on with the RSS workshop co-chairs (email:rss2016workshops at easychair.org) regarding the topic of their intended workshop so that significant overlaps between events can be minimized.

All decisions will be made and the proposers will be notified by February 18, 2016.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Ann Arbor!

RSS 2016 Workshop Co-Chairs
Julie A. Adams and Lydia Tapia
