Applications are currently open under the Irish Research Council
for Science, Engineering and Technology (IRCSET) Government of
Ireland postdoctoral fellowship scheme. Candidates must be within
3 academic years from the award of PhD and propose pursuing their
work for 24 months at an Irish research laboratory. If interested
in applying for such a fellowship please first review the full
documentation at the IRCSET site:

<http://www.ircset.ie/Default.aspx?tabid=78>

Before applying, you must get agreement to hold the fellowship
from an appropriate host laboratory in Ireland.

If you would specifically like to apply for such a fellowship to
be held at the Dublin City University ALife lab:

<http://www.eeng.dcu.ie/~alife/>

then please contact me, at <barry.mcmullin at dcu.ie>, to discuss
this. Note: I can't help with any other kinds of enquiry. In
particular, if you wish to apply under this scheme to work at any
other Irish host laboratory then please contact that lab
directly. If you have general queries about the scheme, or other
research opportunities in Ireland, please contact IRCSET.

Note that the IRCSET closing date is 12th Nov 2009 at 5pm
GMT/UTC; agreement from the proposed host laboratory must be
sought well in advance of this.

Best regards - Barry.
