ECAL 2009 Call for Workshop Proposals

The 10th European Conference on Artificial Life (ECAL 2009) will be held in Budapest, Hungary, September 13-16, 2009. Possible dates for workshops are Sept. 14-16. 

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit proposals for workshops on topics relating to Artificial life and Biological Modeling. 

Proposals should include: 

  a.. A short scientific summary and justification of the proposed topic. This should include a discussion of the particular benefits of the topic to the ECAL conference. 
  b.. A discussion of the proposed format and agenda. 
  c.. The proposed duration, which is typically one session, and your preferred dates. (important!) 
  d.. Procedures for selecting participants and papers. 
  e.. Expected number of participants (this is important!) 
  f.. Potential invited speakers. 
  g.. Plans for dissemination (for example, special issues of journals). 
Proposals are due March 30, 2009 and should be submitted electronically to both of us:
