Conference Objective and topic:
**************************
CASoN 2009 brings together an interdisciplinary venue for scientists,
engineers, computer users, and students to exchange and share their
experiences, new ideas, and research results about all aspects
(theory, applications and tools) of intelligent methods applied to
Social Network, and to discuss the practical challenges encountered
and the solutions adopted.

We solicit original research and technical papers not published
elsewhere. The papers can be theoretical, practical and application,
and cover a broad set of intelligent methods, with particular emphasis
on Social Network computing. Methods such as (but not restricted to) :

Neural Networks
Evolutionary Programming
Fuzzy Logic
Knowledge Management
Multivalued Logic
Semantic Networks
Rough Sets
Intelligent Agents
Ontologies
Reinforcement Learning

should be related to applications on Social Network like:

Network geography
Evaluation Adaptive
Web User Profiling/Clustering
Information Retrieval Browsing and Exploration
Electronic Commerce
Negotiation Systems
Conversational Systems
Security, Privacy, and Trust
Recommender Systems
Web Intelligence
Web-log Mining
Interactive data-explores

Industrial Workshop
****************
Industrial Workshop will be held in ESIGETEL, during the conference.
Professionals from different companies, areas and backgrounds will
make presentations on their usage of social networks on their working
experiences. The aim is to show how do professionals use the different
tools created in social networks. It is also an opportunity for
researchers and professionals to exchange information between them and
an opportunity for professionals to meet and discuss together on
social networking.

Paper submission

references). Additional pages cost 60.00 euros per page with a maximum
of 2 pages. The author kit contains the Templates in MS Word format
and Latex format.

- Submissions will be peer-reviewed by at least 3 independent
reviewers of the PC. Selection criteria will include: relevance,
significance, impact, originality, technical soundness, and quality of
presentation. Preference will be given to submissions that take strong
or challenging positions on important emergent topics. At least one
author should attend the conference to present the paper.

- Papers must be submitted within the stipulated time (April 30, 2009)
and electronic submission in PDF is required. The page limit for a
