CALL FOR PARTICIPATION
RoboCup at Home 2008
July 14-20, 2008
Suzhou, China
*What is RoboCup at Home*
RoboCup at Home is a league inside the RoboCup competitions that focuses on
real-world applications and human-machine interaction with autonomous
mobile robots. The aim is to foster the development of useful robotic
applications that can assist humans in everyday life. It is the major
home robotics competition worldwide.
*Who can participate*
Everybody with an autonomous mobile robot can participate.
The @Home league consists of several tests to be accomplished in a
home environment scenario and an open challenge to demonstrate
the best abilities of your robot. Only natural interaction is allowed
during the tests (i.e., speech, gestures). All tests are performed
in a living room scenario that is as close to the real world as possible.
This includes local (traditional) furniture, no special lighting conditions,
