The 7th International Workshop on Fuzzy Logic and Applications (WILF 2007)
covers topics related to theoretical, experimental and applied fuzzy
techniques and systems. This event represents the continuation of an
established tradition of biennial interdisciplinary meetings, aimed at
bringing together researchers and developers from both academia and industry,
to the aim of reporting on the latest scientific and theoretical advances in
this scientific context as well as to demonstrate the state
of the art of applications and systems.

The 7th WILF meeting includes 84 paper presentations, and  hosts four special
sessions, namely the Fourth International Meeting on Computational
Intelligence Methods for Bioinformatics and Biostatistics (CIBB 2007), the
Third International Workshop on Cross-Language Information Processing (CLIP
2007), Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets: Recent Advances (IFS), and Soft Computing
in Image Processing (CLIPS). These special sessions extend and deepen the
main topics of WILF, thus allowing a cross-fertilization among different, but
interdependent, scientific communities.

The invited speakers at WILF 2007

Spain), Rada Mihalcea (University of North Texas, USA), Witold Pedrycz
(University of Alberta, Canada), Alessandro Villa (University Joseph Fourier,
France), and Ronald Yager (Iona College, USA). Moreover, on Jul 7th, three
tutorials   (http://wilf2007.disi.unige.it/tutorials.html) will  be presented
by  Giovanni Garibotto (Elsag SpA, Genova, Italy), Marina Resta (University
of Genova, Italy), and Gennady M. Verkhivker (University of Kansas, USA).
