The Department of Bioengineering at Binghamton University:
Applications for tenure-track faculty positions are invited.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. or equivalent, an active research
program, and interest in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate
levels.  We are seeking individuals with research interests which
complement ongoing research activities in complex systems.  Candidates
who utilize combined experimental, theoretic, and/or simulation
approaches to address questions related to the complex dynamical
properties of biological, physiological or social systems are
encouraged to apply.  We are particularly interested in individuals
with research expertise in the engineering of complex systems and
evolutionary design. A rank appropriate record of teaching,
publication in scholarly journals, external funding, and/or
business/entrepreneurial experience will be expected.  Applicants
should submit a detailed resume, and description of teaching and
research plans, copies of selected publications and a list of four
professional references to Search Committee, Department of
