The Six International Conference on Humans and Computers is a forum which
addresses all aspects of research related to human and computer.
HISTORY
The First International Conference on Human and Computer 1998 was held and
organized at the University of Aizu, Japan, including the annual meeting of
the 3D Forum Society took place at the University of Aizu, Japan.
The Second International Conference on Human and Computer 1999 was was held
and organized at the University of Aizu, Japan and the Meiji University,
Tokyo, Japan, including the annual meeting of the 3D Forum Society.
The Third International Conference on Human and Computer 2000 was held and
organized at the University of Aizu and the Waseda University, Tokyo,
including the annual meeting of the 3D Forum Society. From this year, a new
style of Internet conference with Gigabit-Network was established between
Aizu and Tokyo.
The Forth International Conference on Human and Computer 2001 was held and
organized at the University of Aizu and The University of
Electro-Communications, Tokyo, including the annual meeting of the 3D Forum
Society on Gigabit-Network Conference.
The Fifth International Conference on Human and Computer 2002 was held and
organized at the University of Aizu and The University of
Electro-Communications, Tokyo, including the annual meeting of the 3D Forum
Society on Gigabit-Network Conference.
Now the Sixth International Conference on Human and Computer 2003 will be
held at the University of Aizu and The University of Electro-Communications,
Tokyo featuring for the four time a Gigabit-Network connection for enabling
participants in Aizu-Wakamatsu to join the conference in Tokyo
and Duesseldorf University of Applied Sciences, Germany.
SCOPE
The Conference provides a forum for engineers and scientists in academia,
industry and government to present their latest research findings in any
aspect of relating with Humans and Computers.
Topics of particular interest include, but are not limited to:
Human
Sensibility Engineering
Motion Analysis Science
Artificial Life
Graphic Processing
Computer Art
Cognitive Science
Virtual Environments
3-Dimensional Computer Graphics (3D-CG)
(Topics of more compound item above are also welcome.)

PAPER SUBMISSION
Form of Manuscript
Requested is a full paper of six pages A4 written in English. The full
paper have to includes an abstract, title, authors, five to ten keywords,
the technical area(s) most relevant to your paper, and the corresponding
author's e-mail address and contents of your research, conclusion and
reference.
The A4 pages are constructed (including figures, tables and references)
using a 11 point font.
Number each page.
Accepted final camera-ready articles for the proceedings or the journal
should follow the specified format
(http://terre.u-aizu.ac.jp/HC-2003/final-format.html). During the review
process for the conference, full papers will be favored.
Electronic Submission
All Papers and Posters are to be submitted via an on-line system using
the BYU Paper Review System. The submission procedure is for authors to
submit an abstract and then submit the full paper - authors must submit
an abstract before uploading their full paper.

Please check that your submission has been accepted when you complete
the on-line submission process. In the event of a problem using the
on-line submission system, you may e-mail a copy of your submission to
Minetada Osano at osano at terre.u-aizu.ac.jp. Thanks to Stephen Liddle of
BYU for his excellent on-line paper review system.
All electronic submissions must be provided in Adobe PDF (Portable
Document Format) only. Hints for converting to PDF from a different
document format are given with the specification for camera-ready
articles (http://terre.u-aizu.ac.jp/HC-2003/final-format.html).
Postal Submission
If electronic submission is not possible, please send three hard
copies of your manuscript to:

PROCEEDINGS AND PUBLICATION
The accepted papers have to be presented orally within 25 minute included
discussion at the conference and will be published in proceedings of the
conference of Human and Computer Committee of the University of Aizu,
Japan, and papers selected of the best papers for the conference will be
published in a special issue of the Journal of 3D-Forum Society.
