Welcome to the Evolution of Morphology and Behaviour (EMBody) mailing list. The list is provided to promote the discussion of scientific and technical issues relating to the concurrent evolution of body shapes (morphology) and controllers (or, more generally, behaviour) for creatures/robots living in rich environments (i.e. environments that afford the creatures a large search space of potential behaviours). Both virtual and real environments are of interest. The list is unmoderated, so please observe reasonable mailing list etiquette. Only subscribers to the list may post to it. Please help make this list a success by actively contributing! Please note the following points about using this list: 1. Because this list only allows posts from subscribers (to prevent spam), you should subscribe to it using your email address in exactly the form as it appears in the "From:" field of your out-going emails. 2. When replying to a mailing list posting, use "Reply" to reply to the sender only. Use "Reply to all" to send your reply to the whole list. Using EMBody
To post a message to all the list members, send email to embody@alife.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to EMBody
Subscribe to EMBody by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.
